Coach House Consultancy based in Lincolnshire started in late 2006 by offering internal verification, quality assurance, support and guidance to training providers of all sizes.

The person behind the company is James Osborne-Prout who has gained several years of experience within the land-based industry, particularly the horticultural industry.

His career since leaving school has been centred on horticulture and since 2001 has worked within horticultural education working as an assessor, internal verifier, external verifier, trainer and lecturer.

James has gained several qualifications including a BSc (Hons) Degree in Horticulture, National Diploma (Horticulture), Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and the A1, V1 and V2 qualifications.

In addition to working as a self-employed consultant James is an external verifier for a world-renowned awarding body.

Being experienced in delivering, assessing and internally verifying vocational qualifications James personally strives to ensure quality and standards are maintained and awarding body practice is followed so learners receive a high level of training consistent with the intended standards issued by the awarding body and sector skills council.
